Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Brazil as used by the coastal fishing Jangadas. The killick consists of two flat pieces of wood tapering to a point at their ends, which have been notched to form a flat cross shape. There is a roughly round stone with a flat bottom, which has been artificially shaped on top of the wooden cross, which is held in position by four wooden sticks coming up through the wooden cross. The sticks are tied with twine at the neck with the ends of the rods projecting out to form two V shaped structures.

Original size: 78 mm x 63 mm x 60 mm
