A circular miniature in a gilt suspension frame representing Emma Hamilton, bust length, turned to her left but facing out to the viewer. She wears a white dress with an off-white muslin or silk shawl held over her head by a chaplet of flowers and leaves. The image is in watercolour, with the figure against a green/brown background, and is a copy, probably from a print, of a Romney portrait which is an 1803 print version.
