HMY 'Carolina'
A portrait of the royal yacht 'Caroline', port-quarter view, in a calm with many other vessels around. The yacht has been delineated in great detail and she flies the Union flag at the stern. Figures have been shown on the deck, with others working in the rigging. Other shipping has been depicted to the left and right of the 'Caroline', which was formerly known as the 'Peregrine'. This painting is one of a pair, see also BHC0979.
