Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy (1769-1839)

This portrait shows Hardy much as he would have appeared at Trafalgar. After the Battle of the Nile, 1798, Hardy became Nelson's flag captain and remained so until the admiral's death at Trafalgar. He later became Commodore of the South America station in 1819-1824 and First Sea Lord in 1830. He was Governor of Greenwich Hospital from 1834 to his death.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all unframed prints are despatched within 2-4 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
