Seascape from the 'Penaglis M. Hadoulis'
Image information
Seascape from the 'Penaglis M. Hadoulis'
A rapid sketch from the 'Penaglis M. Hadoulis' showing the effects of cloud over a moderate swell. Everett has concentrated on form, shape and colour to convey his effect. The sea is painted as a series of short brush strokes of coloured blue tones. The sky is streaked with tones of lilac and blue at the horizon. The main mass of cloud is painted as a carefully scalloped pattern.
