A port quarter view of a Tolo Harbour fisher type junk
A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of a three masted fisher type junk drifting under sail in Tolo Harbour, Hong Kong. She has small fore and mizzen lug sails and a large main lug sail set. Two long nets are suspended from the mainmast, presumably to dry. Other nets are hanging over a frame amidships. She has an occuli on the bow and her boat is alongside. The photographer was in the area on four occasions: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34055 to P34058 inclusive are of the same vessel. Waters Collection: HNC0410
