On board a Yeungkong fisher type junk at Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The photographer is looking forward from deck level on the port side of the deck just ahead of the poop showing the main lug sail stowed fore and aft on athwartships booms. The fishing net windlass is aft of the mainmast. The photographer was in the area on four occasions: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938. Waters Collection: HNC0410
