There are several figures mounted later on the model to give a better idea of scale, comprising of a captain, master and a couple of ordinary seamen working on deck and in the rigging.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBuilt of teak by Jamsetzee Bomajee in the Bombay Dockyard, the 'Cornwallis' measured 177 feet along the gun deck by 48 feet in the beam and had a tonnage of 1809 (builders old measurement). It served during the first China War in 1842, and by 1855, was converted to a steamship and reduced to carrying 60-guns. In 1865, it was sunk and used as a jetty off Sheerness Dockyard, finally being broken up in 1857.\u003cbr\u003eJ.
