Fishing vessel
Scale: 1:32. A half block plating model of the starboard side of a diesel trawler, circa 1950, made entirely in wood, painted off-white and with measurements and names of the key components marked in black ink. The hull is high at the bow and stern with a large rectangular rudder. Inscribed details include three strakes, one of which runs the entire length of the hull; starboard hawse hole, five rectangular scuppers in a single row at main deck level; positions for plates and bulkheads; and provision for the single propeller shaft. The model is displayed on a rectangular black-painted backboard with curved corners and a fixing hole in each corner. Inscribed in black ink on the rudder 'Yard No 456. Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
