Honourable East India Company ensign
Honourable East India Company ensign. A copy made from a design supplied by Sir William Foster circa 1911. The ensign is made of wool bunting, machine sewn with a linen hoist. A rope and wooden toggle is attached. The rectangular ensign has a modern-pattern Union Flag in the canton, the field is divided into nine horizontal stripes - five red and four white.
