Horn beaker
Plain horn beaker. Previously inscribed in ink by Capt William Bligh, now lost: 'Allowance of water 3 times a day'. Used by Lieutenant William Bligh to measure rations during the voyage from Tofoa to Timor in Bouty's launch, after the ship had been seized by the mutineers. Bligh and his eighteen companions were initially allowed 28 gallons of water. Additional water and supplies were obtained at Tofua, where one man was killed by local people. The water was distributed at a daily rate of 3/4 pint, per man. See ZBA2701 and ZBA2702.

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
