Medal commemorating the American Alliance and the bombardment of Callao, 1866. Obverse: Four Amazons, representing Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Chile (the latter leaning on the Chilean shield) swearing mutual allegiance against Spain. Legend: 'ALIANZA AMERICANA DE MDCCCLXVI.' Exergue: Shield, wreath and arms. Reverse: Bird's-eye view of the bombardment of Callao by the Spanish fleet. Above, two armed female figures with swords and bearing shields with scales and star (Peru and Chile).

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
