The arrow missed the heart

This image shows the journey of Comet/2014 E2 Jacques in the path of the spectacular NGC 896 Nebula. The nebula glows with red hydrogen atoms that have been excited by radiation from the luminous stars at its centre. The comet in the image is of a greenish colour, which is a result of carbon atoms. Born digital photograph entitled 'The arrow missed the heart', taken on 21st August 2014, by Lefteris Velissaratos at Strethi mountain, Corinthia, Greece FSQ106 f/5 telescope, EQ8 mount, STL 11000M camera, 530 mm lens, 120 - second exposure. Winner of the Planets, Comets & Asteroids category of Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2015.

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
