The original pastel portrait by Russell - which is not in oval format - with its pair of Bligh's wife Elizabeth (nee Betham), is now in the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Whitby. His was published, as shown here, in his second and fuller account of the Bounty expedition, 'A Voyage to the South Sea....' (1792).
