Cat on board the ship 'Morning' (1871)

Photograph taken on board the ship (an ex Norwegian whaler) 'Morning' (1871), which was one of the relief ships sent down to the Antarctic in 1902-3 and again in 1903-4 to assist Captain Robert Falcon Scott's Discovery on the National Antarctic Expedition.  It was probably taken by the captain of the 'Morning' (1871) on both expeditions, Captain William Colbeck. The cat in the photograph is possibly called 'Night.'
