A fishing pink running past a jetty
Image information
A fishing pink running past a jetty
On the left, in the foreground, a pink sails in starboard-bow view. A pink was a small Dutch fishing vessel rigged with a square mainsail and sometimes with a small foresail on a smaller mast in the eyes of the boat, as in this image. There are two men in the pink, one at the stern with his hand on the tiller and the other bending over in the bow.
