Mounted in album with PAI4673-PAI4681, PAI4683-PAI4716.; No.10. No. 10 in Fanshawe's Baltic and later album, 1843-1883. Captioned by the artist on the album page below the image 'Lisbon. Decr. 1856'. A two-masted Portuguese lateen-rigged boat, with brown sails, against a dark sky. Though shown on calm open water without a coast behind, it is presumably on the Tagus.
