A royal visit to Greenwich Hospital
Image information
A royal visit to Greenwich Hospital
A steel-plate engraving, in only fair condition, with slight hand-colouring, of what appears to be a royal visit by river to Greenwich Hospital, seen here four-square from the Thames. It may be Queen Victoria's sole visit in 1840 or one of several by William IV but close cropping has removed all identifying marks on this example and another sighted (not NMM collection) bears only maker data and no title.
