A view from one Tree-Hill in Greenwich Park - Prospect de la Colline appelle one Tree-Hill en Greenwich Parc

An idealized view in panoramic perspective, taking in the Observatory on the left and the full sweep round to Blackwall Point on the right. The Royal Hospital for Seamen in the centre is shown as complete, although the Queen Mary Court (under the right dome) was only finished in 1751. There are a number of versions of this view by Tillemans in the collection, not all identical in landscape detail and by several engravers, ranging from 1744 to 1794.
