Scale: Unknown. A contemporary model of a ship's dispensary made to show its placing on a ship against the bulkhead, with a section of deck above. The model has been made in wood and polished. The exterior section of hull has been painted black and shows a single porthole. The facing edge of the section shows the vessel's framing, iron deck beams forming the ceiling of the dispensary and two bulkhead sections that form two of its walls. The dispensary can be closed off by two sliding doors with louvred panels and metal ventilator grills above. The floor of the dispensary has been planked and its furniture and fittings include a bed, a lead lined wash basin with lid, a reservoir with a tap and a dresser with cupboards and drawers below and a utensil store above. Utensils include two goblets, two cups, one bowl, one plate and three bottles, all made from turned wood. A plastic bag contains loose parts: a bucket and a plaque inscribed "Dispensary."
