'Albatross', starboard broadside
Scale: 1:48. A contemporary full hull of the 'Albatross' (1884), a powered general cargo ship. The model is built in the builder's style and is decked, fully equipped and depicts the ship as launched fully rigged. It was built by Palmers Shipbuilding & Iron Co. Ltd., Jarrow-on-Tyne, and measured 250 feet in length by 37 feet in the beam with a tonnage of 1450 gross. It was powered by a two-cylinder compound steam engine of 184 initial horsepower turning a single propeller, producing a service speed of 111-112 knots.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
