American Confederate Navy Sword
American Confederate Navy Sword. The hilt consists of a gilt brass solid half basket guard with embossed foliage and within an oval, a foul anchor over two guns in saltire. The pommel is a gilt brass dolphin's head with scaly back-piece. The white fish-skin grip is bound with three copper wires and the blade is slightly curved and flat-backed. The black leather scabbard has two gilt brass lockets and a chape.
