Amphora
A large earthenware amphora, unglazed but painted green. It has a white rim and the inscription 'H.M.S. IMPLACABLE DARDANELLES 1915' within a white shield-shaped border on one side. It was brought back from the Dardanelles by Leading Seaman Albert Edward Thomas (born 1884). He served in 'Implacable' from 28 July 1914 to 18 April 1916, when he was injured by an exploding torpedo and invalided out of the navy.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
