Scale: Unknown. A model of Hall's patent anchor made entirely of brass and nickel plate. The shank is rectangular in section and tapers towards the top. The stock is a flattened V-shape in profile and narrows towards the ends. Two circular apertures are inset at either end of the stock. The stock is held in position by a wedge. At the top of the shank is a D-ring shackle that swivels on a round headed rivet. On two sides of the shank are inscriptions: 'Halls patent anchor Co Limited' and '26 George St Sheffield'. The crown has a large rectangular aperture through which the base of the shank can be seen. The shank pivots on the crown through an arc of about 75 degrees.
