Anchor - woodstock
Scale: Unknown. A model of a standard admiralty pattern anchor which shows the conventional pattern of arms, flukes and a crown. The main body is made largely of brass painted black and consists of a shank which is rectangular in section with two slightly rounded faces. At the top of the shank a ring appears to be missing though there is provision for it - in its place is a makeshift key ring-like hoop, also painted black. The stock is made of wood and secured using four square bands made from lead, the whole of which is painted black. The metal parts of the model have all been abraded and the brass is showing through the paints surface.
