Anti-slavery medal
This medal shows an enchained slave kneeling, with the inscription 'Am I not a Man and a Brother?'. Images and inscriptions such as these, with their appeal to the sympathy of the viewer, were common devices circulated by abolitionists in Britain to further the campaign. Medals such as this would have been distributed at meetings or sold, with the proceeds going to fund the abolitionist campaign.

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
