Arrival of the fleet for the coronation review
The painting commemorates the arrival of the fleet at Spithead to celebrate the Coronation of King George V in 1911. It shows the fleet drawn up in parallel lines for the King and Queen to sail past in the 'Victoria and Albert II'.
