Bowl with a portrait of Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney (1719-1792)
Creamware mug commemorating Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney (1719-1792), inscribed 'Rodney for ever 1781'. It is straight-sided with a slightly flared foot, and is hand-painted in red, green, black and yellow, with floral sprays on each side. A scrolled cartouche surrounds a painted inscription in black. The border is decorated in red, and there are touches of black on the handle.
