Bracket clock by Crick zoom

Bracket clock

A spring-driven bracket clock, striking on a gong, and made about 1830 by Crick of London. It has a mahogany case in the 'Egyptian revival' style, with a round white-painted dial, convex glass, fretted side panels and a glazed rear door. The pendulum movement with anchor escapement contains double fusees and the striking employs a rack. The back plate is marked 'Crick London'.
