White gold sweetheart brooch set with diamonds and in the shape of the Victoria Cross. Captain Augustus Agar VC (active 1919-1957) had the brooch made for his second wife as a gift. The brooch is shaped like a Victoria Cross because Captain Agar won the Victoria Cross for his part in the action at Kronstadt in June 1919.
