Bruges
View of Bruges, showing the market place and the Belfry tower. The Belfry is an 83m high mediaeval tower; first added to the square circa 1240, it was rebuilt in 1280 after a fire. The octagonal upper stage of the Belfry was added between 1482 and 1486. It housed the former city treasury and the municipal archives. John Herschel made a number of tours of Europe in the 1820s with various friends and this may have been picked up as a souvenir from one of those trips. Alternatively it may have been bought for the family collection for the historical significance of the site pictured.Original size: 558 mm x 446 mm

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
