Candle lantern
On a label above the clasp is inscribed: 'Prices Patent Candle Company Ltd, Government Emigrant Ship Lanthorn No 3610. Registered July 1854'. The lantern is an octagonal shape with a pierced lid and hinged top and base. There is a cone-shaped section inside. The candle holder and glass is separate. There is a hinged clasp on the lid with a slot for a padlock - the padlock prevented the passengers from handling naked lights.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
