Cartouche in Atlantic Ocean
Terrestrial floor globe. Geographical details on the sphere are the same as Cary GLB0242 but updated to 1836. The reference to Mackenzie in North America has been removed& in the south polar region five labels have been added, including, for example, the track of 'Wedell 1823' with 'Weddells farthest' and 'Briscoe in 1831-2'. The place where Parry and Liddon wintered in 1819/20 in the search for a northwest passage is indicated.
