Chart of the search for Sir John Franklin and discovery of the North West Passage
In 1853 Inglefield went to the Arctic to make contact with the squadron searching for Franklin, where he learnt that Franklin had not been found but north-west passages had. He plotted the new discoveries on this sketch chart.
