Clipper ship 'Swiftsure'
'Clipper ship 'Swiftsure' 1326 Tons V Stacpoole, Commander'. She is shown flying the Green Blackwall line house flag and the 'pilot jack' (signal for a pilot), inward bound off Dover, with Shakespeare Cliff under her stern. The ship was built in the United Sates, though Lloyd's Register does not say where, in 1854, and was operated by R. & H. Green on the London to Australia run.
