Creamware jug

Creamware jug, transfer-printed in black and hand-coloured, with an oval portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Ensigns and trophies are placed behind the portrait which is flanked by a seaman to the left and Britannia on the right. Below is inscribed 'ADL LORD NELSON', 'Born Septr 26th 1758 Died Octr 21st 1805'. The engravers monogram 'LN' is included in the design. A four line verse is printed on the other side within rose sprays: 'The Loss of gold is great/The loss of time is more/But loosing CHRIST is such a loss,/As no man can restore.' A black line is painted around the rim and neck of the jug.

Manufactured in the UK

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
