Creamware jug
A creamware jug, transfer-printed with a portrait in black of the Duke of Clarence, later William IV (1765-1837). Inscribed below it: 'THE ROYAL BRITISH TAR', 'He's Royal, he's Noble, he's Chosen to be/The Guard of our Island ; Prince of the Sea'. On the other side is shown a naval action and the royal monogram 'GR'. There is also a hand-painted inscription 'Elizabeth Stopperth Down Holland 1789 Success to the Dairy'. Flower sprays are printed below the rim on either side and floral swags around the base. The lip and handle are decorated with hand-painted flowers.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
