Creamware mug, transfer-printed in black with a circular portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) with ships behind him and naval trophies below. Above the portrait is inscribed 'ADMIRAL NELSON', around it 'ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY'.
