Creamware wedding tankard
One of a pair of creamware wedding tankards, decorated in polychrome with wreaths and flowers and depicting a cutter-rigged vessel with a square topsail, under sail, painted in red brown on a green sea, flying a red swallow-tailed pennant. 'Success to the Union' is inscribed below the ship, 'Thos. and Mary Marsh' below the handle. Thomas Marsh was the master of the vessel 'Union'.
