Cufflink made from two commemorative metal buttons with a punch dot edging. The centre of each button is engraved with the depiction of a small ship. The buttons are inscribed with the names 'NELSON' and 'VANGUARD'. 'HMS Vanguard' was Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson's (1758-1805) flagship at the Battle of the Nile.
