Curved bladed dirk
Curved bladed dirk, the hilt of the dirk consists of a cross-guard, which has inversed quillons and escutcheon-shaped langets. A brass chain links a loop on the pommel to a loop on the tip of the fore quillon; it is attached to the loop on the quillion by a copper ring. The chain then runs on to a loop on the tip of the rear quillon, it is attached to the loop on the quillion by a steel ring.
