Earthenware figure of a sailor
A figure of a sailor standing on an oval white base with a gilt line around it. The sailor stands leaning on a bollard with his left hand tucked inside his red and white striped shirt. He wears white trousers, a blue jacket, black neckerchief and white straw hat. It has been suggested that the figure represents Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (1844-1900).
