A large earthenware mug with pink lustre decoration, inscribed 'Success to Shipping Trade'. Opposite the handle, a mauve transfer print of a brig, flanked by a sailor, smoking a pipe and leaning on a barrel and Britannia. The print is hand-coloured in blue green and yellow.
