A white earthenware plate, transfer-printed with an oval portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the crown above and royal arms below. Around the portrait, the inscription 'QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE 1952-1977'. Beneath it on a ribbon 'JULY 28TH FLEET REVIEW AT SPITHEAD 1977' and above, silhouettes of naval vessels. The rim of the plate has moulded decoration with touches of gilt. The maker's mark is printed on the base with the date mark for 1977.
