Scale: Unknown. A model of a stone anchor from Mousehole, Cornwall consisting of a large roughly circular shaped stone which is flat on one side and uneven on the other, which has been grooved at the top and bottom for securing a bent iron rod which is circular in section, around it. The iron rod is twisted at the top of the stone to form an eye to which a cable can be attached and then the two ends pass underneath the stone and project outwards producing two slightly curved arms.
