Equipment model; Gun model

Scale: 1:12. A model of a muzzle loading gun on a pivoting slide carriage made in wood, brass, and steel which has been partly painted. The gun is turned from a single piece of wood and painted black, the trunnions and tompion are made of metal. The slide carriage consists of a rectangular bed with rollers approximately in each corner which are fixed to move the carriage in an arc on a pair of rails. The front end of the bed has a fixing that attaches the bed to the hull. The carriage sides are made of wood to which is attached a number of components that allow the gun to be elevated or moved back and forth. The model is equipped with rope and tackle.
