Geminids over LAMOST telescope
Over 100 meteors were captured in the composed image taken on the peak night of the 2015 Geminid meteor shower. The brightest bolide (an exceptionally bright meteor) instantly lit up the landscape. "As well as illustrating the position of the Geminids' radiant superbly, this great composition has a wonderful sense of motion. If you've ever sat out and watched this meteor shower at its peak on a clear night, you'll know what a remarkable show it can be.
