Globe x-ray
Terrestrial table globe. Geographical details on the sphere include a note in Africa that reads: 'Conjectural source of the Rr. Zaire'. There are five labels in the south pole region including, for example, 'South Victoria Land', ENDERBY's LAND', and 'SOUTH SHETLAND'. A total of eight oceans are named. A bag of lead shot was originally fixed inside the globe to balance it but this is now detached. A similar copy of the 240 mm globe by Newton, dated 1817, has been identified. It has a slightly different inscription and a floating horizon is attached to the meridian ring.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
