Hilt of dirk
Straight-bladed dirk, with a square cross-section. The dirk has an ivory grip decorated with longitudinal threads and a square gilt pommel. The gilt crosspiece has quillons ending in acanthus leaves. The straight steel blade is in the form of a diamond section. The black leather scabbard has two gilt lockets the chape is missing. Both lockets have rings and there is a frog button on the top locket. The reverse of the top locket is engraved with the words 'ARCHER DUBLIN', which is contained within an oval around an Irish harp. The engraving refers to William Henry Archer who as a sword cutler in Dublin from 1786-1828 and was Lord Mayor of Dublin in 1812.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
