Hip flask
A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-1848. A hip flask possibly found in an Inuit cache at Cape Maria Louisa by the Schwatka Search Expedition 1878-1879. The local people had found the items and left them gathered in one place. The flask is made of iron plate, tinned and soldered. The shape is flattened to fit into a pocket, the stopper is missing and the item is fitted with two loops to hold a cord.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
